For the past 15 years or so, I have suffered from a condition called peripheral neuropathy, apparently resulting from a one-time vitamin B12 deficiency that caused deterioration of the nerve sheathings in my feet, which caused the nerves in my feet to die. So basically, I have no feeling in my feet.
Besides just being weird, this has created a series of other problems with my feet.
What is the next “Big Thing” in your life? Graduation? Marriage? First job? New job? Job promotion? Vacation? Retirement?
Do you ever feel like you’re stuck in the middle, spinning your wheels, just “biding your time” until that next big moment?

The old familiar hymn encourages us to “Count your many blessings, name them one by one”. That’s actually not a bad idea. When the economy is in a slump, and gas prices are high, and lots of people are out of work, it’s easy to become pessimistic.
