In the Middle

Song: “In the Middle”
Artist: Lily & Madeleine
Album: “The Weight of the World”

Every once in a while, a song comes along that grabs hold of me and won’t let go. This is becoming one of those songs.

The blend and harmony are stellar.

There is a sweet aloofness in the way the girls sing that draws the observer/listener in.

The simplicity of one guitar and two voices is captivating.

And the message is engaging. “I’m living in the middle.”

Update 8/31/2013:

This is now included in my list of all-time Favorite Songs.
